Snowflake is adding features to make it easier for companies to use their data for real, production AI systems, not just experiments.
Snowflake Postgres
Postgres runs natively in the AI Data Cloud so enterprises can consolidate their transactional, analytical, and AI use cases onto a single, secure platform. To help ensure AI systems are trusted at enterprise scale, Snowflake is further embedding enhanced interoperability, governance, and resilience features into its platform, enabling more customers to bring Snowflake directly to their data, wherever it lives.

Snowflake Cortex Code
Snowflake has launched an AI coding assistant that works directly inside its platform and understands a company’s own data, rules, and systems. The tool is designed to help teams build data pipelines, analytics, and AI applications faster and more reliably, without needing to move data or rely on separate tools. Alongside this, Snowflake is adding collaborative development features and integrations so organisations can take AI projects from idea to production more quickly while keeping security and governance in place.

Snowflake Semantic View Autopilot
Snowflake Semantic View Autopilot is an AI-powered service that automates the creation and governance of semantic views, giving AI agents a shared understanding of business metrics to deliver consistent, trustworthy outcomes.
A key update automatically creates and maintains a shared definition of business metrics so AI systems and teams are working from the same understanding, reducing errors and inconsistent results.
