SAS Tech Services, a specialist IT logistics company based in Northampton has acquired Rapid IT, a company specialising in Lifecycle Management.
The acquisition brings together two businesses with a shared focus on security, compliance and operational reliability. SAS Tech Services, established in 2000, delivers full IT lifecycle support including logistics and nationwide field engineering, supported by an articulated fleet of over 40 vehicles.
Rapid IT will continue operating from its Northern headquarters with its existing team in place, ensuring continuity for customers while benefiting from the wider group’s additional resources and capacity.

Managing Director Lee Spendlove has expressed his delight in the acquisition, and the combined company now has a stronger capability to scale services by delivering larger projects, all whilst maintaining the high standards customers of both SAS Tech and Rapid IT expect across their IT lifecycles.
