New trading name aligns UK&I operations and reflects growth in managed security and AI-focused security solutions
Northamber plc has announced that its UK cyber security and infrastructure business will now trade as Renaissance Distribution.
The new name aligns the company’s UK cyber operations with Renaissance, Northamber’s established specialist cyber security value-added distributor in Ireland, which has more than two decades of channel development experience. The move creates a unified specialist cyber security technologies brand across the UK and Ireland, reflecting the group’s continued focus on delivering cybersecurity expertise, services and solutions to partners in both markets.
The two businesses already work closely together, sharing some vendors, customers and expertise across the UK and Ireland, making the move a natural evolution of the business. The unified Renaissance Distribution brand creates a stronger platform for vendors seeking to expand their reach across the UK and Ireland through a specialist cybersecurity-focused channel ecosystem.
Through its broad portfolio of services and solutions, Renaissance Distribution supports partners looking to develop and expand their cybersecurity practices and service offerings.

For customers and partners, the transition represents a change in trading name only. Existing account management teams, contracts and invoicing arrangements will remain unchanged and continue to operate through Northamber plc.
