XMA Deploys TrilbyTV to Streamline Staff Messaging

XMA has partnered with TrilbyTV to implement digital signage in their three offices around the UK. By using TrilbyTV along with Chrome OS and Acer Chromebox Minis, XMA has resolved internal communication bottlenecks across multiple sites.

TrilbyTV enables screens to be kept up to date. In just a few minutes, end users can share key messages, celebrate achievements and showcase their brand using video, social media, web content, image galleries and much more.

Communication challenges across distributed workforces

With three primary offices and dozens of distinct divisions spread across them, it had become time-consuming for XMA to manually distribute tailored messages to staff. This meant that important and time-sensitive information could be missed. To solve this common problem, they looked for a solution that integrated into their existing corporate framework.

Robust signage with Acer Chromebox Mini

XMA turned to digital signage to make company-wide communication clear, visible and efficient by showing important messages on screens around offices. Having worked with Chrome OS for their clients for many years, they knew Chrome OS was a suitable system as it can be run in kiosk mode and managed via the Google Admin Console.

Their hardware of choice was the Acer Chromebox Mini as it’s compact, fanless, robust and easy to deploy with the included mounting kit for installing it on the back of screens.

Cloud-based communication with TrilbyTV

The final piece was TrilbyTV, a platform XMA were also familiar with from their work with clients. With a simple user interface and features designed to work seamlessly across multiple sites, TrilbyTV makes it easy to deliver the right content, to the right people, at the right time.

Ben Webber, Internal Comms at XMA, saves a significant amount of time since the move to digital signage. TrilbyTV makes it easy to see which players are online and offline, group them by office location, and drill down to areas within that location such as the canteen or admin office. Ben can then customise the content based on location and time and share whole office announcements at the click of a button.

More efficient office communications

Summing up XMA’s experience with Acer Chromeboxes and TrilbyTV, Ben shared,

“We can disseminate the information we want effectively and efficiently. It’s just been a dream, the software just works and it’s been so easy to set up the Acer Chromeboxes, it’s literally just plug and play.”
