“On this day, 7th July 1998, Fruition issued its 1st invoice – 00001. It was for just under £1000 inc VAT, to a firm called Tooling Products, for some structured cabling for their warehouse computers. Many metaphorical industry ‘done-that’s’ & tee-shirts have been got in the years since and many lessons learned, the biggest being the fact that we’re a customer-service business before we’re an IT business, but I’d like to think we’ve broadly been doing it right…..if for nothing else other than the fact we’re still here 28 years later!”
