AOC GAMING’s CU34G4CA (180 Hz) and CU34G4ZCA (250 Hz OC) pair immersive gaming with 90 W USB-C and a KVM switch
AGON by AOC is expanding its 34-inch (86.36 cm) curved G4 ultrawide range with two new models:
- the AOC GAMING CU34G4CA at 180 Hz, and
- the AOC GAMING CU34G4ZCA at 240 Hz (overclockable to 250 Hz).
Designed to transition seamlessly between gaming and work, both models combine high-refresh-rate performance with productivity-focused features such as 90 W USB-C Power Delivery and an integrated KVM switch, making them equally suited for immersive gameplay and hybrid work setups.
The ultrawide format
Both models utilise a 1500R curved Fast VA panel featuring WQHD resolution (3440 x 1440), providing a wider field of view compared to traditional 16:9 displays.
This format offers specific advantages across various workflows and gaming genres:
• Expanded field of view: The 21:9 ultrawide aspect ratio enhances immersion in racing and flight simulators by expanding the player’s peripheral view, while strategy and MOBA players benefit from additional on-screen space for improved battlefield awareness.
• Cinematic visuals: With DisplayHDR 400 certification and a peak brightness of 450 nits, both displays deliver the contrast and depth required for lifelike imagery in expansive open-world titles.
• Workspace consolidation: For professional tasks, the 21:9 ultrawide format offers the convenience of a dual-monitor-style workflow on a single display, providing ample space to view documents, spreadsheets, timelines and multiple applications side-by-side without the interruption of a centre bezel.
Two tiers of high-velocity speed
The G4 ultrawide lineup offers two distinct tiers of performance to match any competitive level, both delivering ultra-low response times of up to 1 ms GtG.
• CU34G4CA (180 Hz): Built for smooth, high-refresh immersion at an accessible price point, this model features a 180 Hz refresh rate and 0.5 ms MPRT to ensure fluid motion clarity during fast-paced gameplay. Connectivity includes 2x HDMI 2.0 and 1x DisplayPort 1.4, making it a natural fit for racing simulators, story-driven single-player titles, and daily tasks.
• CU34G4ZCA (250 Hz OC): For gamers requiring maximum headroom, this model steps up to a native 240 Hz refresh rate, overclockable to 250 Hz, with a blistering 0.3 ms MPRT to virtually eliminate motion blur. Paired with 2x HDMI 2.1 and 1x DisplayPort 1.4, it delivers the high bandwidth required for top-tier graphics cards and elite competitive play.
The integrated professional hub: 90 W USB-C and KVM
To support modern hybrid work, AGON by AOC has integrated professional-grade connectivity usually found in business monitors into these high-performance gaming displays:
• One-cable solution: The 90 W USB-C connection delivers video and data while simultaneously powering a laptop, significantly reducing cable complexity.
• Hardware-based KVM and integrated USB hub: An integrated KVM switch allows users to control two separate systems – such as a work laptop and a gaming desktop – with a single keyboard and mouse. This makes it easy to switch between devices without unplugging and reconnecting gaming gear. The integrated USB hub, featuring 2× USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, keeps headsets, external drives and other accessories within easy reach while reducing cable clutter.
• Ready-to-use connectivity: Both models include a complete cable bundle for easy setup, featuring a 1.5 m USB-C to USB-C (Gen 2) cable in the box, along with a 1.8 m HDMI cable and a 1.8 m DisplayPort cable.
Sustained performance: Visual comfort and ergonomic precision
Both the CU34G4CA and CU34G4ZCA are engineered to support users through the physical demands of high-intensity gaming and full working days by prioritising posture and long-term visual health.
• Professional-grade ergonomics: Both models feature an ergonomic stand with 130 mm of height adjustment, as well as tilt (-3.5° to 21.5°) and swivel (-20° to +20°) adjustment. This flexibility is critical for reducing neck and back fatigue during marathon gaming brackets or extended professional sessions.
• Eye comfort features: Both models incorporate Flicker-Free technology and Low Blue Mode to help reduce eye strain during extended usage, while maintaining the visual clarity and responsiveness of the Fast VA panel.
• Tactical software and Adaptive-Sync: Both displays support AOC’s G-Menu software, allowing users to adjust on-screen settings and switch between gaming presets through a streamlined desktop interface.
To maintain fluid motion, Adaptive-Sync technology eliminates screen tearing and stuttering by synchronising the monitor’s refresh rate with the GPU’s output.
“The 1500R curve and 21:9 canvas are made for the games where immersion matters most, from sims to sprawling open worlds. What is new here is that we have added 90 W USB-C, so the same screen that pulls you into a race can power a work laptop the next morning. You get an immersive, fast gaming monitor first, and a genuinely capable workspace on top,” says César Acosta, Senior Gaming Product Manager at AGON by AOC.
