Biamp will be making their Tech Xpo debut on 5th and 6th October at Ascot Racecourse as a headline sponsor.
Attendees of Midwich’s flagship event will see Biamp’s exciting new product range for 2022, including their award-winning conferencing bars, cameras, and long awaited Impera control products.
Alex Farrell, sales manager for UK& I at Biamp, said: “We partnered with Midwich back at the beginning of the pandemic with the completion of Brexit looming. Together, we negotiated the turbulent waters that were to follow with relative ease, and I must note what an absolute joy it has been to work with such a fantastic team. I am incredibly proud that Biamp are exhibiting at our first Tech Xpo as a headline sponsor.”
Biamp will be running demonstrations of their new video conferencing bars, ABC2500 and VBC2500, with audio intelligence noise reduction technology. Set across two rooms and to highlight both ends of the call, the demonstration will showcase the technology’s ability to identify human speech and discard all forms of unwanted sound like keyboard tapping, paper shuffling, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), and more.
Alison Charters, Midwich divisional manager, added: “Our relationship with Biamp has gone from strength to strength. Their product portfolio provides a broad variety of solutions for corporate, education and leisure applications, and complements our wider video offering to deliver an extraordinary AV experience to the end user.
“During the show, visitors will get to observe Biamp’s video conferencing bar in action – it’s something that needs to be seen, and heard, to be believed.
“To have Biamp’s support at our flagship event is fantastic and provides a great opportunity for our customers to get hands-on with their products and have direct access to the Biamp team.”

About Midwich
Midwich is a specialist AV distributor to the trade market, with operations in the UK and Ireland, EMEA, Asia Pacific and North America. The Group’s long-standing relationships with more than 600 vendors, including blue-chip organisations, support a comprehensive product portfolio across major audio-visual categories such as large format displays, projectors, digital signage, and professional audio. The Group operates as the sole or largest in-country distributor for several of its vendors in their respective product sets.
The Directors attribute this position to the Group’s technical expertise, extensive product knowledge and strong customer service offering built up over a number of years. The Group has a large and diverse base of over 20,000 customers, most of which are professional AV integrators and IT resellers serving sectors such as corporate, education, retail, residential and hospitality. Although the Group does not sell directly to end users, it believes that the majority of its products are used by commercial and educational establishments rather than consumers.
Initially a UK-only distributor, the Group now has around 1,000+ employees across the UK and Ireland, EMEA, Asia Pacific and North America. A core component of the Group’s growth strategy is further expansion of its international operations and footprint into strategically targeted jurisdictions.
