Specialist cloud marketplace provider Giacom has signed a new long-term strategic agreement with technology solutions provider Guru Technology, who has a specialism in mobile and connectivity services. The multi-year agreement will see Guru consolidate its mobile services with Giacom as part of an ambitious growth strategy underpinned by organic business development, operational scalability, and an active partnership and acquisition plan.
The agreement cements a close working relationship developed over the past two years, during which Guru has rapidly scaled its operations, increased recurring revenues, and strengthened its reputation for delivering a bespoke, service-led experience to business customers across the UK.
Founded by Arran Kirton and John Bennetts, Guru Technology was established to offer a more agile, responsive alternative to larger providers. While its heritage is rooted in communications and connectivity, Guru has expanded into adjacent services including IT, solar, EV, and CCTV, building out a portfolio designed to deepen customer relationships and unlock cross-sell opportunities.
“This new agreement is about more than just commercials,” said Arran Kirton, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Guru Technology. “It’s about working with a partner who genuinely understands our goals and is willing to invest time, resource, and expertise into helping us get there. From day one, Giacom took the time to understand our business, our customers, and where we want to go next. This strategic partnership gives us the flexibility, the tools, and the confidence to scale, including through our own smaller partnership and acquisitions, whilst doing it in the right way. We felt Giacom demonstrated actual real world business knowhow and have been flexible on how that is delivered as part of our joint strategy. It’s about winning together”
The move to consolidate with Giacom follows a competitive tender process and marks a deliberate decision to put the right foundations in place ahead of Guru’s next phase of growth. With a strong appetite for acquiring smaller mobile and hosted voice specialists, Guru was looking for a long-term supplier relationship that could support scale, remove friction, and create the headroom to pursue growth opportunities.
As part of the agreement, Guru will also benefit from Giacom’s Cloud Market platform, with seamless integration into its billing and provisioning systems, simplifying and automating key workflows and enhancing business performance.
Andrew Wilford, Managing Director – Mobile at Giacom, said: “This is exactly the kind of relationship we aim to build – one where we’re not just supplying products, but actively enabling our partners to grow stronger, faster, and more profitably. Guru is a business with huge potential and a clear vision. By working together at this level, commercially, operationally, and strategically, we’re laying the groundwork for sustainable, scalable growth. That’s what a true channel partnership looks like.”
Guru will transition its mobile base to Giacom over the coming months, with plans to leverage the full capabilities of Cloud Market and Giacom’s channel ecosystem to support ongoing expansion.
