HP have unveiled new innovations in the gaming arena for 2025. We briefly look at three from the Gaming sector.
OMEN 17 Gaming Laptop

HyperX Cloud III S Wireless Gaming Headset
The HyperX Cloud III S is built for comfort, outstanding audio quality and a durable, resistant build, with added connectivity and customisation options for those who want high gaming performance and the ability to do more with a single headset.
Switch between the low latency 2.4GHz and Bluetooth modes. Utilising 2.4Ghz means it has pairing compatibility; hence it can be connected to selected OMEN devices without the need of a dongle.
The headset offers up to 120 hours of battery life using the 2.4Ghz mode for optimal gaming performance and up to 200 hours using Bluetooth for streaming content and listening to music – performance testing achieved these results at 50% volume levels, and actual battery life will vary with use.
The HyperX Cloud III S features two mic options: a 10mm boom mic for ultra clear communication or a boomless option for convenience through two integrated mics when the boom is detached. The headset was designed for customisation through the removable magnetic earcup plates which can be personalised.
