HPE appoints Neil Dover as Ireland Country Sales Leader

HPE (Hewlett Packard Enterprise) has appointed Neil Dover as Ireland Country Sales Leader, effective immediately. In this role, Neil will lead HPE’s sales team in Ireland, driving the strategic planning, business development and customer engagement as the company advances its AI and hybrid cloud solutions in the market.

Neil joins HPE from HP Inc., where he spent 15 years in multiple leadership roles, most recently serving as Country Manager for HP’s Go-to-Market business in Ireland. He has a strong track record of building high performing teams and transitioning businesses to a solutions-led approach, bringing more than 18 years of commercial and channel experience to HPE. Commenting on his appointment, Neil has stated:

“I am excited to join HPE at this crucial time and look forward to helping customers realize new opportunities and achieve outcomes that matter most to their businesses. I’m inspired by the enthusiasm and deep knowhow of the team and by HPE’s AI proposition for the Irish market.”

Investment in Ireland

As part of his role, Neil will be responsible for HPE’s newly unified Ireland Go-to-Market organisation. An investment designed to strengthen customer and partner engagement across the country, this expanded organisation includes a growing Ireland Channel Sales team, a newly established Digital Sales hub in Leixlip, and dedicated in-country presales resources.  Neil’s new team will focus on accelerating solution adoption, driving business growth, and delivering greater value to Irish customers.

Pauline Yau, Senior Director, Global & Strategic Sales and Ireland Country Sales, HPE, has expressed her delight in Neil joining HPE, stating:

“We are delighted to welcome Neil to HPE. His proven track record across commercial, channel and solutions-led transformation will be invaluable as we accelerate customer adoption of AI, cloud and networking solutions in Ireland. Under his leadership the Ireland team will deepen partner engagement, scale our digital sales capability, and realise meaningful outcomes for our customers.”

New GEC Collaborative Hub

HPE’s support is demonstrated further, and strengthened, through an investment into the HPE Galway office, where HPE is launching the Galway Experience Center (GEC). This collaborative hub enables customers and partners to rethink challenges, co-create solutions, validate ideas, and meet the engineers shaping HPE technology.

The centre was designed to foster two-way dialogue with HPE experts, gain a better understanding and increase confidence in utilising HPE solutions. By providing this unique learning and problem-solving environment, HPE aims to enhance customer experience, shorten solution development cycles and accelerate business outcomes.

Engineering and Business Teams together to Meet AI Opportunities

Ray McGann, Ireland managing director at HPE, adds:

“Neil’s appointment and the launch of the Galway Experience Center reinforce our long‑term commitment to Ireland and our customers. By bringing engineering and business teams together for in-depth strategic discussions, we’re making it simpler for Irish organisations and partners to realise the opportunities AI presents. These investments deepen our local presence and allow us to better support Ireland’s digital and economic growth.”
