RAJA Group has appointed Jonathan Metcalfe as managing director of Viking for the UK and Ireland.
Leading a team of about 200 people, Jonathan will be responsible for accelerating Viking’s growth in the UK and Ireland, two priority markets.Â
Jonathan brings extensive executive leadership experience and a track record of leading UK and International teams. Prior to joining the RAJA Group, Jonathan served as regional managing director for the UK, Nordics and Eastern Europe at Manutan Group from 2022. Before that, he held the position of managing director for Manutan UK’s Enterprise Businesses from 2019 to 2022. He also spent nearly four years as managing director for Staples Online in the UK, Ireland and Nordics.
Jonathan’s experience includes more than a decade at electronics giant RS Components, where he held various senior roles, including head of global strategic suppliers, global category head for electrical and T&M as well as overseas operational roles.Â
