Northamber welcomes Darren Spence as their new Group Managing Director

A week ago Darren Spence posted an enthusiastic message on social media:

“After a 30 year job interview spanning every aspect of the IT Channel, I am pleased to confirm my appointment as Group Managing Director of the renowned distributor, Northamber PLC. I am looking forward to getting to know the team, our vendor and reseller community, and getting my network aligned and excited about the next phase in the Group’s chapter !! Day 1. Let’s go!!!”

Commenting on Darren’s appointment, Ian Kilpatrick, non-executive director and strategic advisor at Northamber, has stated:

”I’m delighted that Darren has joined Northamber at this exciting phase in our transformation and growth journey. His reputation precedes him, and he has the breadth of experience and skills we need as we expand domestically and internationally.”

Prior to joining Northamber, Darren Spence was Chief Revenue Officer at Smartbox.ai and previously served as Managing Director of Bytes Document Solutions, as well as founder and Managing Director of Boost Technology Group. He has also advised and supported channel organisations on sales and go-to-market transformation across the UK.

Alex Phillips, Executive Chairman of Northamber has also welcomed Darren Spence, stating:

Recently Nuvias UC completed the sale of its hardware business to Northamber, and Darren Spence will oversee its integration. All hardware vendors, associated hardware services, and the hardware team from Nuvias UC’s UK business was included in the sale.
