Renaissance appoints Chief Commercial Officer and Sales Director

IT security distributor Renaissance, part of the Northamber PLC group, has announced two senior leadership appointments: Norman Newell has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), while David Keating has been promoted to Sales Director.

Both appointments took effect on 1 July 2026.

As a specialist value-added distributor, Renaissance works closely with MSPs, VARs, and IT service providers to deliver cybersecurity and technology solutions tailored to the Irish market. The company’s approach centres on building long-term partnerships with both vendors and resellers, providing technical expertise, commercial support, and marketing resources that help partners grow their businesses.

Norman Newell

Norman, who previously served as Sales Director, takes on the role of Chief Commercial Officer, reflecting the growing scale and ambition of Renaissance’s commercial operation. He will lead the company’s commercial strategy, with a particular focus on strengthening enterprise partnerships, developing key vendor relationships, and identifying new opportunities across Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Having played a central role in Renaissance’s growth for more than 15 years, Norman brings extensive knowledge of the vendor landscape, a deep understanding of the partner ecosystem, and long-standing relationships across the IT channel that will help drive the company’s next phase of growth.

David Keating

David, formerly Enterprise Account Director, steps into the role of Sales Director at a pivotal time for the business. He will lead and develop Renaissance’s sales operation, driving execution and accelerating growth across the company’s partner base. Known for building strong relationships across the Irish IT channel, David combines commercial insight with a partner-first approach and a proven ability to turn
opportunities into results. His experience and leadership make him a natural fit for the role.

Investment in People, GTM Capabilities and Events

The appointments come as Renaissance continues to build momentum, expanding its vendor portfolio across cybersecurity, cloud, and IT infrastructure while strengthening relationships with global technology vendors. The company has also invested significantly in its people, go-to-market capabilities, and flagship events programme, including CEXI (Cyber Expo & Conference Ireland), now recognised as one of Ireland’s leading cybersecurity events.
