Exertis teams up with Scylla to fortify AI security solutions

Leading technology distributor Exertis has partnered with Scylla to expand its security solutions portfolio. Scylla’s AI-based Anomaly Detection System (ADS) will be available to both new and existing customers, offering enhanced security across industries such as retail, airports, and sports venues.

Scylla’s platform includes a range of features, such as face recognition, object detection and tracking, and perimeter intrusion detection, that can be integrated with existing security cameras and monitoring systems. The AI-based system is expected to save companies money by reducing labour costs and accelerating time to action situations that require intervention.

The global video analytics market is predicted to reach USD 22 billion by 2027, with a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 22.7% from 2020 to 2027. The Covid-19 pandemic has also increased the demand for video analytics for threat detection. The partnership between Exertis and Scylla comes at a time when there is a growing need for scylla.ai in advanced security solutions. Dominic Ryles, Director of Sales & Commercial – Security at Exertis Enterprise, said the partnership would enable their channel partners to open up new revenue streams while also providing meaningful insights to detect objects, actions, and behaviour anomalies.
