Final regulatory approval for the coming together of Wavenet and Daisy Corporate Services has now been received and the teams have formally completed the deal.
The united teams will now begin combining the two businesses to create the UK’s largest independent IT managed services and security provider, offering an expanded range of products and services, a greater depth of experience, value through their boosted buying power and unrivalled access to next generation technology.
Leading the new business as CEO is Philip Grannum, with Daisy Chairman Matthew Riley joining the new board as non-executive director and Wavenet Chairman Bill Dawson staying on in his current role.
The teams have been considering the future identity of the business and have confirmed that Daisy Corporate Services will be rebranding to Wavenet. This will ensure a clear distinction between other parts of the Daisy Group, which were not part of this deal, and will bring the businesses together under one unified brand.
Over the coming weeks and months Wavenet will go through a collaborative process of bringing together operations and will continue keeping customers, suppliers and partners updated on their progress.
