Westcon-Comstor appoints Olya Scekaturova as UKI sales leader, to drive sales under unified European operating model
Westcon-Comstor has appointed Olya Scekaturova as Vice President of Regional Sales for the UK and Ireland (UKI).
An accomplished technology and IT channel executive who has previously held leadership roles with Computacenter and Insight Enterprises, Olya joins Westcon-Comstor from digital infrastructure provider Black Box where she served as Vice President, UKI and Europe.
She brings more than 15 years of experience in sales and technology services leadership, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth, leading large-scale transformation programmes and building high-performing teams. In her new role at Westcon-Comstor, Olya will be responsible for accelerating growth across the UK and Ireland, strengthening partner and vendor engagement.
Olya will lead a newly integrated UKI sales operation that unifies the distributor’s Westcon and Comstor teams in a single structure, in line with its reshaped European go-to-market strategy. She will be supported by a team that includes John Nolan, who becomes Senior Director, Vendor Sales, having previously led the Westcon business in UKI.
Single Operating Model
As part of the distributor’s new sales approach, all engagements in UKI and across Europe are now underpinned by a single operating model, ensuring a more joined-up experience for partners and vendors across technologies, geographies and routes to market. Partners are to benefit from clear ownership, coordinated coverage and improved visibility of opportunities.
The introduction of the unified sales model follows last year’s appointment of Stéphane Reboud as Senior Vice President, Sales, Europe, to whom Olya will report. Olya has commented:
