Cohesity appoints Director of Channel Development

Cohesity has appointed Harvey Smith as director of channel development, UK, Ireland and Benelux. Harvey will lead the company’s channel strategy, driving growth across those markets, through integration and engagement via the new Cohesity Aspire Partner Programme, launched in August.

Harvey brings a proven track record of delivering data security and AI driven transformation partner initiatives at scale, having successfully implemented extensive eco-system programmes for DocuSign, Hitachi Data Systems, VMWare, and Tableau (acquired by Salesforce).

“[Harvey] Smith’s appointment marks an exciting next step in our partner strategy for the UK, Ireland, and Benelux.” said Stéphane Arnaudo, senior director of channel sales, Europe, at Cohesity. “His track record of leading transformative, large-scale partner and alliance programmes across the region is going to be instrumental in helping our partners deliver more innovative, impactful data security solutions with increased compliance and business insight capabilities.”

Harvey added: “The channel has evolved. Customers aren’t just buying products anymore, they’re buying outcomes. The best relationships are built upon listening to and supporting partners, aligning on where customers have a need, and working together to address it. My focus is on building an even stronger, more connected channel across the UK, Ireland and Benelux, and making sure our partners have everything they need to lead that conversation. As AI adoption and data storage continues to grow, the ability to offer secure, AI powered data management will become increasingly integral to Cohesity’s, and our partners’, offerings.”
