With only a week to go, attending the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) event in Barcelona, from 4 to 7 February 2025, requires some advance planning to maximise the experience. Here are some considerations and tips for attendees:

1. Why am I going?
Define your objectives before attending the event. Whether it’s learning about specific technologies, making new business contacts, or sourcing suppliers, having clear goals will guide your activities and focus.

2. Do I have a ticket?
Have you registered yet? Where are your ticket details? There may still be time to get free entry available through exhibitors or your partners. Check what your ticket includes, especially if you are interested in specific sessions.

3. Where am I staying?
If you still haven’t booked accommodation close to the venue, or your favourite hotel is full, consider staying in nearby neighbourhoods for better deals and convenient access to the venue, such as Sants-Montjuïc or Eixample.

4. Venue Details
Familiarise yourself with the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via, the event venue. Understand the layout, the key areas where the sessions will be held, and explore transportation options, including public transit links. Review the list of exhibitors and plan which booths to visit based on your interests and goals. This helps in efficiently navigating the exhibition floor. Download the official event app for up-to-date information, scheduling, and interactive maps.

5. Networking Opportunities
Attend as many networking events, meetups, and social gatherings as possible. Prepare business cards and digital contact information for exchanging with peers and industry leaders.

6. Be Ready for Work
Identify sessions, keynotes, and workshops that are most relevant to your interests or work. Plan your schedule accordingly and register for sessions that require pre-booking. Consider having a portable charger for your devices to ensure connectivity throughout the long days at the venue.

The News in the Channel team hope to see as many of you as possible.
